Conclusion for Computer Technology

Computer technology provide many benefit to us. It can be use for education, transportation, entertainment, healthcare and many else. The uses of the computer is without limitation.
As you can see, the uses of the flimsy smartphones to the light-weighted laptop have been use by the kids or even an old folk.

As a universal device, computer can be uses by everyone in this globe. In addition, handicap people uses the voice of the screen reader like JAWS and NVDA, Braigo as their inovation printer and many more.
Besides, we know that a child uses tablet to play a game like Clash of Clan and do their homework.

In the same word, it's world wide and internationally function as a communication medium in this entire world.
Examples, in the rural area, there is no connection of network or any Cyber Cafe to access the Internet.
But now, the government served them with this modern technology to the citizen thus it can make their life more easier to get a job, online shopping, call their relatives and so on.
Furthermore, we can still keep in touch together as a Malaysian citizen.

Computer Technology for The Blind - Braille Printer (Braigo)

What is Braigo Printer?

Braigo is meant by Braille Lego. It is created by a young and intelligent 13 years old boy, Shubham Banerjee.

Shubham Banerjee with his invention of Braigo V.1 and Braigo V.2

He is a 7th Grade Student in Santa Clara who is invented this unique and portable Braille printer for the blind. As he said at Intel Capital Summit 2014 through his YouTube's channel (Shubham Banerjee), he only searched the information of accesibility for the blind, Louise Braille, embosser, Braille and Brailler itself on Google!

This is the video when he is been interviewed by the two speakers at Intel Capital Summit 2014 :

He is committed to create a 'Humanely Optimized' technology device that are innovative, affordable and cater to solving life's problems. After he did some research about the Braille and Brailler, he came out with a new idea to design Braigo.

He just bought Lego pieces and develop a new technology for it such as put a roll of paper on it, a power supply and a Braille Head. You can see the close up of Braigo model in this video :

For the disadvantage of this Brailler, it is required up to 10 to 15 seconds to print a character.

This is the component of Braigo V.2

Shubham is looking at his Braille printer.

Braigo V.1

Definitely, the advantages of Braigo are it's portable, easy to carry, light-weighted device, unique design from Lego, affordable price and low sound of printing.

Braigo Labs has upgraded the new version of the printer to Braigo V.2

Braigo came with two versions. First invention is Braigo V.1 which is not for sell and it is just a concept device. The production cost for $100 or RM366.
Meanwhile, Braigo V.2 is sell for the customers with the price of $200 or RM733.
It looks like a standard printer but with different functions of itself.

Braigo V.2 is slightly different in design, good quality of materials, more effectives, faster printing and it is more expansive than the previous version Braigo.

The Best Computer Technology Devices

The Mouse
At present, it is difficult to imagine a desktop computer without its iconic sidekick: the mouse.Developed 41 years ago by Douglas Engelbart at the Stanford Research Institute, in California, the mouse is closely linked to the development of modern computer and also play an important role in the rise of a graphical user interface. Engelbart demonstrated the mouse, along with several other key innovations, including hypertext and shared-screen collaboration, at a ceremony in San Francisco in 1968.Early computer mouse comes in many shapes and forms, many of which will be almost unrecognizable today. However, by the time mouses became commercially available in the 1980s, the mold set. Three decades on and despite some modifications (including lost its tail), the mouse remained unchanged. That's not to say that the company does not try to add all kinds of extras, including mini joystick and an air ventilator to keep your hands free and a cold sweat.Logitech alone has sold more than a billion of these tools, but some believe that the mouse is on its last leg. Another resurgence, more intuitive interface may eventually loosen the grip of the mouse it to us.

The Touchpad
Despite stiff competition from track balls and button joysticks, the touchpad has emerged as the most popular interface for laptop computers.
With most touchpads, a user’s finger is sensed by detecting disruptions to an electric field caused by the finger’s natural capacitance. It’s a principle that was employed as far back as 1953 by Canadian pioneer of electronic music Hugh Le Caine, to control the timbre of the sounds produced by his early synthesizer, dubbed the Sackbut.
The touchpad is also important as a precursor to the touch-screen interface. And many touchpads now feature multitouch capabilities, expanding the range of possible uses. The first multitouch touchpad for a computer was demonstrated back in 1984, by Bill Buxton, then a professor of computer design and interaction at the University of Toronto and now also principle researcher at Microsoft

The Multitouch Screen
Mention touch screen computers, and most people will think of Apple’s iPhone or Microsoft’s Surface. In truth, the technology is already a quarter of a century old, having debuted in the HP-150 computer in 1983. Long before desktop computers became common, basic touch screens were used in ATMs to allow customers, who were largely computer illiterate, to use computers without much training.
However, it’s fair to say that Apple’s iPhone has helped revive the potential of the approach with its multitouch screen. Several cell-phone manufacturers now offer multitouch devices, and both Windows 7 and future versions of Apple’s Macbook are expected to do the same. Various techniques can enable multitouch screens: capacitive sensing, infrared, surface acoustic waves, and, more recently, pressure sensing.
With this renaissance, we can expect a whole new lexicon of gestures designed to make it easier to manipulate data and call up commands. In fact, one challenge may be finding means to reproduce existing commands in an intuitive way, says August de los Reyes, a user-experience researcher who works on Microsoft’s Surface.

Computer Technology in Transportation

First of all, the use of computers in transportation has been  expose over the past decade. Vehicles and transportation infrastructure use all types of electronic computational components like application specific standard processors (ASSPs), systems-on-chips (SoCs), single board computers (SBCs), and fully integrated large-scale systems has been use to ease human task.

There a choice dependent on many variables but is primarily driven by size, weight and power.
Usually computer board- and system-level products are most often used in larger vehicles such as ships, trains, planes or heavy trucks.

They are also used widely throughout various parts of the supporting infrastructures and intelligent highway systems. Commercially available products are also used in prototyping and low unit-volume production while vehicle-specific designs are used in high unit-volume deployments.

The use of computer in transportation can give us many benefit such as on board communication and navigation systems which is very popular at this time. Beside that its also help in routes navigation systems that monitor and control movements to provide increased safety.

Other information that I get ,computers in transportation also can be use for entertaiment systems such as providing music, video and gaming systems. We can see nowadays there a lot of media facilities in buses , lrt and so on.

There are many more uses of computers in transportation like intelligent highway infrastructure including electronic toll collection ,emergency vehicle notification systems ,automatic road enforcement with red light and speed cameras ,variable speed limits, collision avoidance sysytems, dynamic trafic light sequencing and many other capabilities.

It also can be use to help monitoring system for temperature ,pressures, flow rates ,level changes and so forth. In addition ,it can cargo managment system including cargo booking ,shipping order processing ,dispatching ,payment, gate operation procedures, check in/out,facility location planning and monitoring processes.

Computer Technology and Healthcare

Computer Techs in Health Care
The earliest use of computers in health care is in the administration. Hospital established computerized budgeting and financial planning; medical office use program designed specifically for their needs. However, record-keeping standards and fully integrated computerized system via the electronic medical patient records left behind. Something as simple as introducing a system of standard computerized exit signs listing the problems of patients, treatments and medications, so coming understandable staff, has been found to improve the care of patients.

Over the past few years, the cost of providing high quality service and patient satisfaction in hospitals has increased dramatically. Using information systems in health care has become one of the best solutions for hospital management to reduce costs, improve customer satisfaction, to improve the hospital, as well as to provide high quality patient care.

Well, there have several advantages in computer technology, which is computers are mostly used in every organization. Computer plays different fields nowadays no field is evolving without the role of computers. Besides, computers become a reliable product in every hospital due to its effective and efficient performance. From open heart surgery to X-Ray's everything is made possible so easily only through computers.

Next, apart from administrator purpose computers are used in performing surgeries. Laparascopic surgeries is said to be the most common surgery which can be done only through the help of computers. The medical experts insert the medical tools and other small equipment attached with cameras into the patient's body.

And then, if they have advantages, they've must be have disadvantages. The have several such as cost. One of the biggest drawbacks of adding computers to hospitals is the cost. Computers cost money and a large hospital needs many computers to keep the system running smoothly. Thus, creating a network to transfer medical records or keep track of billing is an additional initial cost. Unlike paper records, which simply require a few more copies, electronic records keeping requires constant upkeep of computers, computer software and other electronic elements, which can cost even more.

Lastly for the disadvantages is security.  If your doctor or hospital is switching to computers or electronic record keeping, you're probably worried about the security of your medical records. Paper records are keep in a doctor's office or a warehouse, but once computers are added to a hospital, electronic records keeping typically follows. Once electronic record keeping is begun, medical information is usually added to a closed computer network, but as long as Internet connection comes into the network, the system is vulnerable to a outside sources, opening the debate to question about patient privacy and medical record security.

How can Computer Technology Can Be Used in Education

Are you familiar a Malay poet 'Dunia di Hujung Jari'. Today, the internet is used by more than 50% of the world population, as its applications are found  in nearly every fields of life, be it communication, knowledge, news, shopping, marketing, entertainment and education. The fast and
relatively low cost access is one of major benefits of Internet to people and students all over the world. Communication and information are two basic uses of the internet. Information available on websites can be updated at any time and for number of times.

Using multimedia

Students all over world use multimedia for education. Images, graphics, animation and slideshows have greater impact to students than a text or book. It also benefit to children bacause they love to watch video, animation and images.

Easy Contact

Students can contact to other students or their teacher/lecturer via e-mail if they lack of any information.
Sharing information, group discussions can be easily carried out using the internet. Lecturer or teachers can also contact parents easily using internet.

School/College Projects

Internet can be very useful for completing projects in school and college. Internet is full of information, one can find information and research work required for one's projects.
Going through the information on the Internet is definitely faster than reading an entire book on the subject. Completing homework is also easier with the help of the Internet.

With these points, we find that the importance of Internet in education cannot be denied, and hence, every student should be given access to the Internet for deeper understanding and knowledge of a subject. However, lots and lots of information can be termed as both, advantages and disadvantages of the Internet as students can also have an access to unwanted or unethical information and sites. Therefore, it is only wise for parents to make students understand what is good and what not for them, or keep a watch on their surfing (web browsing).

Lastly, although the Internet cannot replace books or classroom education, it is one of the best substitute for those who wish to gain deeper knowledge on literally every subject under the sun.

The Introduction of Computer Technology

INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY.

Evolution on technology
Computer technology is the study of hardware and software which is the basis of modern computer systems. Computer now an integral part of everyday life, to control everything  from the tiniest microchip into to nuclear power stations. The need to build and using efficient computing infrastructure is now essential for businesses and other organizations.

Operating systems are computer programs that control computer - allowing us to store information and run application software. They must support new hardware with multiple processors, ever faster and larger memories and a myriad of accessories and addons. You’ll go beyond Microsoft Windows to learn about alternative operating systems, how operating systems work, and how to set up secure systems.

Modern computer systems rely on a network interconnect them. Once built in phone lines, this network is now running in optical fibres and bring millions of voice and video conversations.
Demand for people who have the skills to build a new and better. The network is constantly evolving; applications today require higher speeds, mobility, reliability and capabilities of today, and tomorrow
the network will be more. You will acquire skills - learning from IMPORTANT network lecturers who have experience in the industry can not themselves, and who can demonstrate advanced research and development in this field.
